St. Johns Anglican Church is the oldest religious foundation in The Bahamas. When The Eleutheran Adventurers came in 1647 and they migrated to Harbour Island, it is believed that their descendants would have been living here when this church was constructed. Its pink and white building dates back to 1768, and the Loyalists worshiped here as early as the mid1700s.
