The Artfully Crafted World of Yellowbell
Walking into Yellowbell, the attention to detail and artfully crafted decor are unmistakable. The sugar apple light fixture by Bahamian artist Kendra Frorup and painting by Tessa Whitehead are instant focal points, with the succulent lined bar and green, gold, and yellow accent pieces creating a warm, yet vibrant visual experience.
The Yellowbell cafe and craft cocktail bar opened in early November, and features unique cocktails, and a menu that is far too flavourful and delicious to be considered standard bar fare.
Yellowbell was developed by the team who brought the vibrant Bon Vivants cafe and Young's Fine Wine to life, in partnership with the Island House Resort. The menu (which includes unique artwork by IG: @onecuriouscay) features freshly brewed coffee, lattes and breakfast favourites like Vanilla Brioche French Toast, Eggs Benedict, and Avocado Toast in the early morning hours. In the afternoon, diners can enjoy unique cocktails, like their refreshing vodka, St. Germaine, lime juice, Giffard Orgeat, and cucumber infused Eager Eyes, or dishes like lobster tempura made with fresh Bahamian lobster, spicy tuna and crispy rice, lightly seared sashimi, and a Beef Katsu Sando, featuring a beef tenderloin, tonkatsu sauce, and a honey mustard mayonnaise.
The Yellowbell bar is open daily from 4pm-11pm. They are also open for breakfast Mon-Fri from 7am-11am and 7am-12pm on weekends. Lunch is available from Mon-Fri from 11:30am-2:30pm.
