PPP Projects
The Bahamas Airports Public-Private Partnership (PPP) is a project initiated by the government of the Bahamas, through the Ministry of Tourism and Aviation to develop and operate a portfolio of 8 airports across the Bahamas. In ensuring that this project aligns with the Ministry’s organisational framework, the airports have been parceled into three bundles.
Bundle one (1) comprises the Grand Bahama International Airport (GBIA).
The request for pre-qualifications (RFpQ) submission process for GBIA will commence on Monday, 28th March 2022 at 9:00 AM EST. Prospective respondents can contact p3airports@bahamas.com for further clarifications.

DPM Announces Airport Public-Private Partnership Initiative for Grand Bahama.
NASSAU, Bahamas, 18 March 2022 – The Honourable I. Chester Cooper, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments & Aviation, announced on Thursday the launch by the Government of The Bahamas of Phase I of the Bahamas Airports Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Programme to design, build, finance, operate and maintain several airports throughout The Bahamas.
