My first live aboard trip was in the Bahamas. I saw my first shark in the Bahamas and the experience changed my life and my outlook on protecting the precious ocean environment. There were so many "firsts" for me on that trip- but the most important one is that it ignited my passion for marine ecology and the importance of protecting these places. After that trip, I decided right then and there, I decided I was going to be a Professional Scuba Diver. That experience brought me to today, an owner of two dive shops and a professional traveler.

I’ve lives in New Providence and has a large experience in Andros, Exumas, Cat Island, Grand Bahama, San Salvador and Bimini. My dream is to make a tv series about the islands, specially the southern islands.

My first experience was circa 1979 when lead a group of divers to Bimini and stayed at Brown Hotel. Over the next 40 years I lead around 20 groups on Blackbeard's where visited Freeport, Nassau, Cat Cay and numerous other small islands in The Bahamas, I have visited Riding Rock Inn 3 times and Andros once.

I have not had the opportunity to visit or dive the Bahamas yet. However, I have recently booked some guests on a Dive vacation (July 2020) in the Exumas. I worked with the dive operator (Aqua Cat) and the Bahamas Covid team to ensure my guests met all the entry requirements prior to departure. The team in the Bahamas were great and even helped us out on Bahama Independence Day to make sure our guests' paperwork was in order for them to travel during a time when the requirements were changing almost daily. My guests had a wonderful trip and now we are starting to plan a group trip to the Bahamas in 2022.

We have visited The Bahamas on numerous occasions and even accepted our first work as dive instructors there back in 2002. Since then we have led underwater photography trips and visited on FAM trips as photo-journalists to cover the diving for Sport Diver, Wildlife Photography World, Scubaverse & Dive Travel Adventures. We have photographed all of the shark dives as well as many of the reefs and wrecks of the islands we have visited.
