Despite its air of uncharted seclusion,Stocking Island is surprisingly easy to reach.No more than a short boat ride from George Town’s Government Dock.

Ask around for a ride, and a water taxi can get you there in five minutes;
a little longer, if you rent a boat of your own and make a stop at the pristine Moriah Harbour sandbar.

Though small and almost entirely untouched, Stocking Island has long been a haven for avid sailors and casual day-cruisers alike. Protected bays in which to ride out harsh weather, secluded stretches of white sands, and a hike to the historic salt beacon.
