It is obvious that the location of this waterfront lodge was chosen by fishermen for fishermen, with easy access to the bights of Andros, eliminating long boat runs in open water. The club covers ten acres of pristine wilderness on the northeast shore of Mangrove Cay, just below the Middle Bight and due east of Moxey Town.
Its primary fishing grounds are the Middle, North and South Bights, in addition to the remote and fabled west side of Andros, better known as the "Land of the Giants."
Anglers can expect bonefish averaging four pounds with regular shots at fish in the 7 to 10 plus pound range. There is always the possibility of a shot at a world record bonefish. Mangrove Cay Club hosts a maximum of 16 guests, assuring fishermen of the personal service and quality fishing that is its hallmark. Owners/managers Liz Bain and her husband, Alton, have made Andros Island their permanent home since 1990. The Bains and their staff are attentive to every detail and are committed to making your stay a first-rate experience.
