Birdwatching Tour
You will explore environments deep into the bush as well as creeks and other wetlands. Acklins, Crooked Island and Long Cay together have over 168 species of migrating and residential birds, which include Whistling Ducks, the Bahamas Woodstar Hummingbird, Eurasian Collared Doves, Common Ground Doves, Ospreys, and our celebrity flocks of Flamingos.
Cave Tours
Visit the bat and limestone caves at Atwood Harbour and Jumbey Hole on Acklins and the underground world on Crooked Island. Many of the caves have majestic limestone formations that take on unusual forms and shapes.
Historical/Cultural Tour
This tour will take you by car to the local historical sites on Acklins, Crooked Island and Long Cay.
Iguana Tour
This tour takes you by boat to a private cay off the coast of Lovey Bay, Acklins. There are a few outlying cays on which you can find the endangered Acklins Ground Iguana.
Long Cay Tour
This eco-tour explores Long Cay, home to wild goats in the brush, historical ruins, and flamingos feeding on the south shore. Included in this tour is Long Cay Jail, one of the first jails in The Bahamas. You can also explore St. David and St. Augustine's Anglican Church (circa 1795), one of the first Anglican Churches in The Bahamas.
Snorkeling/Coral Reef Tour
We offer a half or full day of snorkeling on the reefs off Lovely Bay, Acklins or Long Cay. You can see lobsters in the coral reefs, passive stingrays, nurse sharks, and numerous tropical fish.
